JOAN'S PHILOSOPHY
Joan Roth has dedicated her life to raising awareness of women’s plight and activism, which is the central focus of this film. Roth, herself a feminist icon, chose to prioritize making women visible versus fame and fortune. The film lifts up the experience of the women’s movement, advocates, and diverse Jewish women worldwide and is narrated by top feminist icons. This film is written and produced by Joan’s daughter to ensure her mother’s legacy in hopes it will be an inspiration to other women who are on the frontlines of today’s challenges for women’s equality and reproductive rights.
